Day Twenty: ‘Pilgrim’

April 20, 2013

The shadow of night leans long, but your countenance

holds fast to goodness. Your long jaw contains

the numbers and the code of universe

coiled tight as rain and blue as generous sky.

Bob, friend, dear one, welcome me in your arms

of circus and vertical lines so we may churn

in the simple rhythms of big top love. Adieu.
